After the storm, we were greeted by a wonderful blue sky this morning. Not a cloud in sight! But the snow is there.. lots of it and it's been ohhh so cooold!. Too cold to stay out long enough to build a snowman. The whole neighborhood was out shoveling. I can see pain and soreness affecting pretty much all of the courageous diggers.

I worked for a couple of years in a ski resort (Courchevel) in France during the winter season. This is the kind of equipment that paired with a dump truck was used to plow in the village. One of those would fix our access road/parking lot issue in no time. OK for most other snowfalls in this area it would be total OVERKILL.
So far no sign of the contractor that is supposed to plow the access road to the main street. Schools are of course closed tomorrow, the daycare is snowed in. Cherry on the cake: the hubby is sick. Looks like I'm not going anywhere. It's such a beautiful day!
Yay for telecommute. As long as we have power I'm in good shape. If only I could do that more often. Too bad my company's policy in that matter is a big no no. 8 to 5 in the office thou shall be. So shhhh :)
